On Saturday 17 December I organised an alternative carol singing event at Occupy Leeds in City Square. An enthusiastic group came down to join the occupiers in a sing-a-long of carols with altered lyrics.

It went so well that the camp asked if we could do it again. So we did.

At lunchtime on Tuesday 20 December a slightly different group gathered, along with a media hoard as Phill Jupitus, Chumbawamba and the cast of Big Society joined us in the freezing cold to sing out the badly syncopated carols.
